③ Form negatives = Subject + Auxiliary v. + NOT + Main v. e.g. My brother was not working when you called him.

★ Pay Attention to : Modal Verbs – which belongs to Auxiliary Verbs. Modal verbs includes : ?Shall-should ?Will- would ?May-might ?Can- could ?must The similarities shared with auxiliary verbs: Both Auxiliary V. and Modal V. have to be followed by a Main V. e.g. My sister will go back to her college tomorrow. Could you help me with my homework?
